BioCell is an Australian Private Cord Blood Bank providing umbilical cord blood collection service and stem cell perservation. BioCell employs midwives throughout Australia to perform umbilical cord blood collections for parents wishing to store their baby's unique stem cells.

To be eligible to apply for these position you must have an appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa.

Client Adviser

We are seeking a highly organised, efficient person with a good work ethic to fill a Client Adviser role in our Melbourne Office. Your duties will include:

  • Directly responsible for all aspects of inbound sales calls from parties interested in BioCell's service
  • Directly responsible for follow-up and outbound telesales to leads on the inquiry database
  • Computer work with both Microsoft Word and BioCells own in-house software program
  • Management of collector training records
  • Management of collector payments
  • Registering new clients
  • Helping with the dispatch of collection kits

The successful applicant should have experience in the midwifery / science / health care or marketing industries. They should be team orientated and work well under pressure. Salary will be dependant on qualifications and experience.

Midwife Cord Blood Collectors - Casual

We are seeking enthusiastic midwives dedicated to the provision of private cord blood banking services to Victorian families who choose to have their baby's stem cells stored.

Positions are available as casual cord blood collectors to perform collections in Victorian maternitiy hospitals.

The position offers:

  • Full training and support
  • Generous payment for each collection
  • Additional payment for evening and night collections
  • Mileage allowance
  • Opportunity to attend industry relevant educational seminars

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a registered midwife
  • Have excellent communication skills and team work philosophy
  • Have your own car, phone and computer access
  • Be available to work on-call
